Casting calls will be taking place to interview potential candidates Monday and Tuesday, January 16th and 17th, 2012 for a national Harley-Davidson television commercial. Interviews and filming will take place in Austin, TX. Both male and female riders are being cast. The casting directors are looking for people who own a Harley and are willing to use it for the commercial shoot. They also want real riders, not actor types, who have great stories to tell about their jobs, hobbies, experiences, etc.
It’s a Laugh Productions and Disney Channel are back in production on the hit multi-camera teen sitcom “Good Luck Charlie” as it begins taping it’s 3rd season. New kids, teens, and infant twins are being cast as series regulars, recurring roles, and guest stars. The third season will feature an addition to the Duncan family, a new baby. There will be a talent search for infant twins to play the role of the new baby, as there was for the role of Charlie Duncan (casting directors were unsuccessful in finding an appropriate set of twins for the role of Charlie and decided to cast Mia Talerico).

Summit Entertainment, the production company behind “The Twilight Saga” films, has acquired the rights to the youth-oriented “Ender’s Game” franchise. An open casting call has been scheduled seeking bright and talented kids and teens ages 10 – 17 of varying ethnic backgrounds. Talent must be located within reasonable driving distance of New Orleans, LA. The shoot is scheduled to run from February 2, 2012 through June 8, 2012. The casting directors are especially interested in home-schooled kids and teens due to the filming schedule during school hours. An on-set teacher is required to be provided by the production company for all minors, therefore it is not absolutely necessary to be home-schooled. Those who are selected will have the adventure of a lifetime and become part of science fiction cinema history!
New Line Cinema, Safran Company, and Evergreen Media Group, LLC are ready to begin principal photography on the upcoming thriller feature film “The Conjuring” in February, 2012. Shooting will take place entirely in North Carolina at Wilmington‘s spectacular EUE/Screen Gems Studios and other locations in and around the Wilmington area. The film’s stars are being cast in Los Angeles
The Coen Brothers along with Scott Rudin Productions and StudioCanal are set to begin principal photography on the music world feature film drama “Inside Llewyn Davis” in New York starting February 6, 2012. Casting is now underway for supporting roles, day players, extras, stand-ins and photo doubles for the film’s stars. Open casting calls are scheduled for both union and non-union talent. Shooting will continue through April 3, 2012 with a theatrical release in 2013.
The hit series “Army Wives” has been given a 23-episode sixth season order and casting for the show’s guest stars are being cast out of New York, and additional principal actor casting is being done in South Carolina where shooting takes place. There is also an open casting call scheduled for extras – specifically seeking African-American men between the ages of 13 and 25, who weigh 190 pounds or less, and kids/teens of any ethnicity 3-17 years of age.
