Uptown Productions in association with Schneider’s Bakery, Inc. are now in production on the new comedy series “Sam and Cat” for Nickelodeon Network. The casting director will be auditioning actors throughout the season for recurring roles, co-starring roles, and under five roles. The extras casting director will also be hiring background extras throughout the season. The pilot episode was shot in September, 2012 and Nickelodeon announced a series pickup with an order for 20 episodes on November 29, 2012. The show will premier September 10, 2013 on Nickelodeon.

It’s A Laugh Productions and Poor Soul Productions are casting new recurring roles for the third season of the hit Disney XD live-action multi-camera comedy “Kickin’ It“. Taping on the show will resume in January, 2013 in Los Angeles. In addition to the recurring roles, the Disney casting directors will be casting guest starring and day player roles throughout the season which will continue taping through Spring, 2013. The extras will also be cast on an ongoing basis throughout the season. “Kickin’ It” was given a third season order by Disney on on November 5, 2012.

Auditions are ongoing for co-starring, guest-starring, and day player roles. Extras are also being cast throughout the 15 episode season. The series takes place in Texas, however shooting is done in Van Nuys, CA at Calvert Studios and various locations around Los Angeles. “The Client List” is based on the 2010 television film of the same name that premiered on Lifetime Network July 19, 2010.

ABC Studios is getting set to begin shooting a new single-camera 1/2 hour comedy series pilot titled “Trophy Wife”. Casting directors in New York and Los Angeles are auditioning talent for a variety of roles, including series regulars, co-starring, guest starring, possible recurring, and day player roles. In addition to the principal actor roles being cast, many extras will be hired throughout the shoot which will take place beginning December 3rd in Los Angeles. The production company Mad Chance is gearing up to begin filming the upcoming romance comedy feature film10 Things I hate About Life,” and casting directors are auditioning actors for co-starring, supporting, and featured roles. Extras will be hired starting late November and will continue to be cast throughout December. Shooting will commence on December 3, 2012 in Los Angeles. The film wouldn’t have been able to shoot in the state without help from the California Film Commission, which invested in the roughly $10 million budget.
