ABC has launched the first ever digital talent outreach contest in the United States, where actors and comedians can submit a video of their acting or stand-up comedy performance for a chance to be seen by ABC Casting executives. The contest is called “ABC Make Me a Star,” and will consist of two components. One is a private competition where ABC will select the winner, and the other will be a publicly voted competition where the public votes for the winner out of ten finalists chosen by ABC.

The new TBS 1-hour comedic detective series pilot titled “Brain Trust” is now in production in the Portland, Oregon area and the film’s extras casting will be holding an open casting call for local people interested in working on the show as background. The series regulars for this series are cast out of Los Angeles.
