Reese Witherspoon’s production company Pacific Standard and New Regency are in pre-production on the 20th Century Fox thriller feature film ‘Gone Girl’ based on the novel of the same name by Gillian Flynn. The Primetime Emmy Award nominated casting director is holding auditions in Los Angeles for lead roles, supporting roles, and day players. The photo-doubles and stand-ins for the principal actors, as well as general extras and featured background actors will be cast throughout production. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles and Missouri from mid-October, 2013 through February, 2014.
Disney auditions will begin soon on the modern film adaptation of the classic science fiction novel “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea” by French writer Jules Verne. Shooting is scheduled to begin in February, 2012. All of the film’s roles are up for grabs, including starring, co-starring, and supporting roles. This adaptation is not to be confused with producer Ridley Scott‘s project in development at 20th Century Fox.
Filming is currently taking place in Los Angeles on the Columbia Pictures feature film “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo“. The extras casting director is currently casting several very featured background artist roles, including Swedish, Spanish, and European looking types.
