It’s A Laugh Productions and Poor Soul Productions have begun production on the fourth season of the hit Disney XD comedy series “Kickin’ It”. Casting calls have gone out for new recurring roles, and will continue throughout the season for various characters. In addition to the actor casting calls, the extras are being hired on an ongoing basis. Disney XD announced that the show would be picked up for a fourth season back in August, 2013. Kickin’ It is the network’s highest-rated series in total viewers, and season 3 outperformed Season 2 in all ratings by double-digits. Kickin’ It season 4 is scheduled to air in 2014.

It’s a Laugh Productions is now in production on season one of the brand new Disney XD live-action superhero comedy series “Mighty Med”. Disney casting directors are beginning to audition actors for series regulars, recurring roles, guest starring roles, and day players. The extras are being hired throughout shooting on the sophomore season, which will continue through November 1, 2013. “Mighty Med” is a multi-camera series that was inspired by the extraordinary world of super heroes and comic books. Shooting takes place in Los Angeles.

It’s A Laugh Productions and Poor Soul Productions are casting new recurring roles for the third season of the hit Disney XD live-action multi-camera comedy “Kickin’ It“. Taping on the show will resume in January, 2013 in Los Angeles. In addition to the recurring roles, the Disneycasting directors will be casting guest starring and day player roles throughout the season which will continue taping through Spring, 2013. The extras will also be cast on an ongoing basis throughout the season. “Kickin’ It” was given a third season order by Disney on on November 5, 2012.
It’s A Laugh Productions is in pre-production on the new 1/2 hour sitcom “Mighty Med” for Disney XD, and the Disneycasting director is auditioning actors for the show’s starring and co-starring roles, as well as possible recurring roles. Central Casting is handling the hiring of the show’s stand-ins and extras. Shooting will take place in Los Angeles, CA beginning in February 2013. The starring roles include two boys and one girl who can play 15 years of age. They are also accepting submissions from actors of any ethnicity.

Disney ABC Television Group’s highly coveted Casting Project is accepting headshots and resumes through July 2, 2012 for consideration to audition for the ABC Talent Showcase. Participants for each talent showcase must be at least 18 years old. Actors should have some training or experience in Television, Film or Theater, but it is not required that you have representation to apply or participate in the showcase.
It’s that time of year again for Disney Channel and Disney XD to hold the first official open casting call of 2012, this one in Kansas City, Missouri. Casting directors are seeking boys and girls between the ages of 10 – 18 (or who look like they are 10 – 18) and are interested in acting, dancing, or singing. The purpose of these open casting calls is to discover talented young actors to be considered for upcoming original movies and series produced for Disney Channel and Disney XD.
Disney Channel and Disney XD are searching for talent ages 9-18 years for possible upcoming projects. The casting directors are looking for male and female talent of any ethnicity and dialect. In addition to acting talent, they will be looking for those with strong singing, dancing, and athletic abilities of any type. They will consider all talent, both experienced and inexperienced with these particular skill sets. Also welcome are newcomers that have done Community Theatre, Acting workshops, etc. Videotaped auditions are also being accepted from talent who can not travel to the auditions.
