The hit FX Network Golden Globe Nominated horror-drama series American Horror Story has been renewed for a second season and the award winning casting team is holding auditions in Los Angeles. The show’s format is anthology based, whereas the story, characters, and location for each season is different. The show’s guest stars and extras are being cast throughout the season, which began shooting July 17, 2012. The second season of “American Horror Story” takes place in an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane, although filming takes place in Los Angeles.

FOX hit musical comedy-drama ‘Glee’ casting new regulars for season four

The smash hit musical comedy-drama television series “Glee” is casting new series regulars to make up the new high school glee club for the show’s fourth season. Filming is scheduled to start in late July, however rehearsals will possibly begin in early July. Woodbridge Productions and Sony Pictures Television are set to begin shooting the pilot episode of the series “Modern Love” for Lifetime Network. The casting directors for the series in New York are auditioning local actors for supporting and day player roles, as well as casting background artists, photo-doubles, and stand-ins. The series stars Eric Stoltz, Ally Sheedy, Cara Buono (Mad Men), Broadway theatre actress Alice Ripley, Charlie Semine (Mercy), and newcomer Samantha Futerman.
