Vitamin A Films and Cinemarket Films are holding an open casting call for featured and general background extras in Geaorgia who are interested in working on their Indie film “When the Bough Breaks”. The film will shoot in and around the Savannah, GA area beginning December 5, 2011.
Summit Entertainment, the production company behing “The Twilight Saga” films, has acquired the rights to the youth-oriented “Ender’s Game” franchise. Auditions and casting calls are getting underway for the film’s starring and supporting roles. The movie will be shot in the New Orleans area and the extras and stand-ins will be hired there, as well as many crew members. The shoot is scheduled to run from February 24, 2012 through June 8, 2012.
The Summit Entertainment action thriller feature film “Snitch” is set to film in Shreveport, LA beginning December 3, 2011 and auditions for the films lead and supporting roles is underway. The main roles are being cast in Los Angeles and New York, and smaller speaking roles will be cast locally in Louisiana. All of the film’s extras, photo-doubles, and stand-ins for the film’s stars will be hired in Louisiana.
From the writers of “The Hangover” and “The Hangover Part II” comes Mandeville Film’s “21 and Over”. Jon Lucas and Scott Moore wrote the screenplay and are also directing this comedy which begins shooting in Seattle on August 21. 2011. The Seattle casting directors will be casting day players, extras, stand-ins and photo doubles throughout the shoot.
The casting director for “The Place Beyond The Pines” is holding open casting calls for actors and extras in Schenectady, NY in June, 2011. The film needs all types and ages. There is one lead role available for a multiracial teenage boy, other speaking roles, and numerous extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles are also needed.
