Disney casting directors are now searching for kids and teens who can play various series regular roles between the ages of 12 and 16. The show that is being cast is a brand new Disney Channel multi-camera 1/2 hour comedy series called “Super Awesome Katy”. She show will begin shooting in January, 2014. Many other guest starring and recurring roles, including adult roles, will also be cast prior to the start of shooting, as well as during the season. Casting for Disney Channel on this project is being done by the Casting Society of America Artios Award nominated casting director Suzanne Goddard-Smythe and Ty Harman. They are conducting auditions in Los Angeles, CA. The extras will be cast throughout production on season one.

On March 28, 2013 Disney Channel announced that the live-action comedy series “Jessie” was renewed for a third season. It’s a Laugh Productions is now in production on season one of the brand new Disney XD live-action superhero comedy series “Mighty Med”. Disney casting directors are beginning to audition actors for series regulars, recurring roles, guest starring roles, and day players. The extras are being hired throughout shooting on the sophomore season, which will continue through November 1, 2013. “Mighty Med” is a multi-camera series that was inspired by the extraordinary world of super heroes and comic books. Disney Channel has given a series order to “Girl Meets World,” a spinoff of the hugely popular 90’s ABC television sitcom “Boy Meets World”. The show, which will premiere sometime in 2014, is a continuation of where “Boy Meets World” left off but jumps ahead to present day. Casting for recurring roles, guest starring roles, and day players for “Girl Meets World” will get underway soon. The extras and stand-ins will be hired throughout production on season one.
Uptown Productions and Bischoff Hervey Entertainment in association with Katlin/Bernstein Productions and Nickelodeon Productions are now in production on the second season of the hit multi-camera live-action family comedy series “See Dad Run”. The network has ordered 20 new episodes, and the show’s Primetime Emmy Award winning casting director is holding auditions for recurring, guest starring, and under-5 roles. The extras are being cast throughout the season, which will run through Summer, 2013. The series, which stars Scott Baio, is filmed on the Paramount Studios lot in the old “Happy Days” sound stage. Season two filming begins in March, 2013. The show airs Sundays at 8pm ET/PT on Nick at Nite.

The show will continue where the ABC television sitcom “Boy Meets World” left off back in 2000, however the story jumps ahead to the present. That series ran successfully for seven years beginning in 1993. The Casting Society of America ARTIOS Award winning Disney casting director for the show is auditioning talent for several remaining starring roles, and will also be casting guest starring and day player roles. The extras will be cast throughout production, which officially begins shooting on March 5, 2013.
