The second film in a super-popular trilogy, “Catching Fire”, is now in pre-production and casting calls for the film’s extras have now gone out. Casting has been underway in Los Angeles for new co-starring and supporting roles. The day players, extras, photo doubles, and stand-ins will be hired in the Atlanta, GA area where shooting take place. Additional casting will take place on the Hawaiian Islands of Oahu and Kauai, and possibly in North Carolina.
Liam Hemsworth’s last film before shooting commences on “Catching Fire” is now casting for lead roles. The film is titled “Paranoia” and also stars Academy Award nominated actors Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman. It is being described as a corporate espionage thriller that follows a war between rival telecom companies. Auditions are taking place in Los Angeles and New York. The extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles will be hired in the filming locations of Philadelphia and New York.
The search is on for the next leading ladies to star opposite Liam Hemsworth in the romantic thriller feature film “Timeless”. In addition to Hemsworth’s wife, and a new love interest, all of the starring and supporting roles are up for grabs in this time-travel movie where Liam’s character Rory builds a machine in order to visit his beloved late wife one last time. The powerhouse production company Relativity Media will begin shooting “Timeless” in Manhattan this coming July, 2012 after Liam Hemsworth wraps filming on “Empire State”.
Based on true events, the upcoming major feature film “Empire State” is auditioning actors in Los Angeles and New York for starring and supporting roles. Shooting will take place in New York City, and New Orleans where additional casting for smaller speaking roles and extras will take place. The three starring roles cast so far have been filled by The Hunger Games’ Liam Hemsworth, Young Artist Award winner and six-time Teen Choice Award nominee Emma Roberts, and Teen Choice Award winner Dwayne Johnson.
The extras casting director for the Lionsgate feature film “The Hunger Games” are holding open casting calls in Concord, NC and Shelby, NC for local area residents to work as background performers on the film. The production will be hiring over one thousand extras throughout filming, in addition to stand-ins and photo doubles for the film’s stars. There is a special need for Children and adults with interesting character faces, but all types will be needed.
Auditions are about to get underway for the first installment in the “The Hunger Games” trilogy based on the novels by Suzanne Collins. Director Gary Ross and producer Nina Jacobson have stated that they are open to casting unknown actors in the film’s lead roles.
