The hit Lifetime Television series “Drop Dead Diva” has been officially brought back to life for a fifth season after being cancelled on January 15, 2013. There was a tremendous outcry from the show‘s fans, and showrunner Josh Berman credits the fans for the return of the comedy-drama television series. Lifetime signed a deal on March 1, 2013 with Sony Pictures Television that made the show economically viable not only for Season 5 but for seasons beyond. Now the casting director has scheduled open casting calls for talent in the metro Atlanta area to appear on the show as general background performers. Principal actor casting is also underway and is being done in Atlanta.

Sony Pictures Television in association with Fedora Films and Jaffe/Braunstein Films are in production on the second season of the hit Lifetime network drama series “The Client List”. Auditions are ongoing for co-starring, guest-starring, and day player roles. Extras are also being cast throughout the 15 episode season. The series takes place in Texas, however shooting is done in Van Nuys, CA at Calvert Studios and various locations around Los Angeles. “The Client List” is based on the 2010 television film of the same name that premiered on Lifetime Network July 19, 2010.

From the creator of the hit ABC series “Desperate Housewives” comes an amazing new comedy-drama series for Lifetime Television called “Devious Maids”. Casting is taking place in Los Angeles and New York, as well as in Atlanta, GA where the 1-hour show will be shot. The pilot episode was filmed in Los Angeles. Auditions will be ongoing throughout season one for guest starring, recurring, and day player roles. FOX 21 Television is in pre-production on a new series pilot for Lifetime titled “Cinnamon Girl“. Auditions are being held in Los Angeles and New York for starring, co-starring, guest starring, and day player roles. Fox 21 and 3 Arts Entertainment are getting ready to begin shooting the new one-hour series pilot episode of “The Witches of East End” for Lifetime Television, and auditions are underway in Los Angeles, New York, and Wilmington, North Carolina. The extras casting director is also accepting submissions from all types and ages of people interested in working as fully paid background performers. The movie is based on the best-selling novel series “The Beauchamp Family” by Melissa de la Cruz. Filming begins on October 17, 2012 in Wilmington and Western North Carolina.
