FF7 Productions in association with One Race Films and Original Film are now in pre-production on the action crime thriller feature film “Fast & Furious 7”, and casting calls will be going out in Los Angeles for starring, co-starring, and supporting roles. Additional casting for smaller speaking roles will take place in the shooting locations of Georgia and Louisiana. Shooting will also take place in Tokyo and Dubai. The extras will be cast near the locations where filming will take place. Principal photography commences September, 2013.
The Gotham Group is now in pre-production on the first film in a major science fiction feature film trilogy “The Maze Runner” for Twentieth Century Fox. The movie is based on the first book in a young-adult dystopian science fiction trilogy of the same name by James Dashner. The film’s Primetime Emmy Award nominated casting director is holding auditions for the starring roles, which consists of a group of teen boys and a teen female. All types and ethnicities are being encouraged to submit. Rehearsals begin in mid-April, and shooting starts on May 1, 2013 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. All of the stand-ins and extras will be hired in the Baton Rouge area close to the start of filming.

The casting director in Los Angeles is auditioning talent for the movie’s starring and co-starring roles. Additional casting for supporting roles will take place in Los Angeles, and in Louisiana where shooting is scheduled to begin in April, 2013. The stand-in and extras will all be cast in Louisiana closer to the start of filming.
Cloud Ten Productions in association with Stoney Lake Entertainment and Family Screen Partners are in pre-production on the upcoming major epic action thriller feature film “Left Behind” based on the best-selling novel “Left Behind: A Novel of the Earth’s Last Days” by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. Casting is underway in Los Angeles for the film’s starring and co-starring roles. Additional principal actor roles will be cast in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where shooting will take place beginning in March, 2013. The stand-ins and photo-doubles for the film’s stars, as well as featured and general background actors, will also be cast in Baton Rouge.
The Millennium Films action thriller feature film “Homefront” is in production in Louisiana, and casting for day player speaking roles and extras will be ongoing through November 21, 2012. The movie, written and produced by Sylvester Stallone, is based on author Chuck Logan‘s crime drama series of novels featuring the character Phil Broker. Filming is taking place in New Orleans, the Westbank suburban area of New Orleans, Thibodaux, among other locations in Louisiana. All types and ages of people are needed to work as background performers, both union and non-union.
Dimension Films and The Weinstein Company‘s true crime drama feature film “Devil’s Knot” starring Academy Award winners Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth is currently casting thirteen lead roles, and numerous supporting and day player roles. The movie is based on the events surrounding the sensationalized trial of the West Memphis 3 murders and how the crime impacted the lives of those in the community. Filming begins June 25, 2012 in Louisiana.
The star-studded major feature film “Django Unchained” is currently in production and an open casting call for African American men, women, and children in being held near New Orleans, Louisiana on February 15, 2012. Additional casting calls will take place for other ethnic groups and types at a future date. “Django Unchained”, which has been shooting in Mammoth Lakes and Santa Clarita, California and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, will be moving to New Orleans for the duration of filming. Principal photography will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana through April 27, 2012.
Universal Pictures is currently conducting an international talent search for a lead role in a major feature film with a $100 million dollar budget starring Tom Cruise. The long anticipated feature film adaptation of author Stephenie Meyer‘s “The Host” is now ready to begin shooting in February, 2012.
