Flying Car Films, Bad Robot Productions and Warner. Bros Television have been given a series order by FOX for the new sci-fi drama television series “Almost Human. Casting for guest starring, new recurring, and day player roles will be ongoing throughout the season, as will the extras and stand-ins. The series takes place 35 years into the future when humans in the LAPD are each teamed up with realistic androids, and a detective who has a distaste for robots ends up being teamed up with one that has human-like emotions. Shooting on the multi-camera series takes place from July 17th through December 1st in Vancouver.
Wheatfield Productions and Kimball Technologies Productions are set to begin filming the Walt Disney Picturesfeature film “Tomorrowland” in August, 2013. The casting directors are accepting submissions from talent for major supporting roles in the film. The roles include several children as well as adults. Production will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia where the extras and stand-ins will be cast throughout the shoot. All ages, types, and ethnicities can register to be considered for extra work.

Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures, in association with Disruption Entertainment are in pre-production on the huge big-budget epic feature film “Godzilla”, and shooting is scheduled to begin on March 14, 2013 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The film’s casting directors in Los Angeles and Canada are holding auditions for several starring roles. These roles are for boys ages 3 – 11 years of age. The youngest is a Caucasian boy to play a 4 year old, the middle one is a Japanese boy to play 6 years of age, and the oldest is another Caucasian boy to play 10 years old. The actors do not have to be these exact ages, but can be a year older or younger. The extras will be cast in Vancouver close to the start of filming, which will run through June 22, 2013.

Television are now in production on the long awaited DC Comics superhero television series “Arrow,” and auditions are taking place for guest starring, recurring, and day player roles in Los Angles and Vancouver. The show’s extras and stand-ins are being hired in Vancouver, where shooting is taking place through December 4th, 2012. “Arrow” is based on characters appearing in comic books and graphic novels published by DC Comics, more specifically “Green Arrow“.

Weinstein Company and Dimension Films are now in pre-production on “Scary Movie 5” after a two year wait. The casting directors have sent out casting calls for several lead roles that require dance skills as well as the ability to play comedy in a grounded dramatic style. Other roles for non-dancers of various ages are also being cast. Extras will be hired in both Los Angeles and Vancouver, where shooting will take place beginning June 15, 2012.

Production is set to begin on a new Disney Channel Original Movie titled “Who’s Your Monster” and casting for supporting and day player roles continues. Extras will be cast throughout filming in Vancouver, BC. The movie is Halloween themed, and set to premiere during Disney Channel‘s second annual month-long Monstober event in October, 2012. Shooting will begin on March 26, 2012 and continue through mid-May, 2012. The movie is about a girl who discovers her parents are monster hunters when she accidentally releases them from a secret containment chamber. She and her trusty techno friends must recapture the escaped demons and save her mom and dad.
