Skydance Productions and Annapurna Pictures are gearing up to begin filming the upcoming reboot Paramount Pictures sci-fi action-adventure thriller feature film “Terminator” in January, 2013. A top industry production report has shown a working title of “Terminator: Genesis”, while other industry trades are calling it simply “Terminator 5”. The Casting Society of America Artios award winning casting director is now on the search for actors to play the roles of Sarah Connor and John Connor.

Marvel Studios, an owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, is currently in pre-production on the action sci-fi feature films “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Ant-Man”. The Disney casting director (contracted by Disney’s Marvel Studios) has been sending out casting notices as “Untitled Marvel Project”, leading many to speculate that the casting is for “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” or “Ant-Man”. Indeed it is the same casting director that holds auditions for both films. Casting calls are now underway, and the filming schedules for both films are now available.

Disney casting directors are searching for two young actors to play lead roles in the Walt Disney Pictures/Lucasfilm “Star Wars: Episode VII”. Six casting director meet-and-greet sessions have been scheduled across the United States and United Kingdom to scout talent for two lead roles, one young female and on young male. Lucasfilm, an owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, in association with Bad Robot Productions, Genre Films, and Kasdan Pictures are in pre-production on the highly anticipated epic feature film “Star Wars: Episode VII”. Despite the recent change in writers, shooting will still commence on January 21, 2014. Casting calls have been issued and auditions are taking place for starring and co-starring roles. The primary filming locations will be at Pinewood Studios in the UK, with additional shooting in New Mexico, and in Los Angeles. J.J. Abrams has constructed production facilities at his Bad Robot Santa Monica headquarters specifically for Star Wars: Episode VII. Universal Pictures announced on Saturday October 12, 2013 that actor Charlie Hunnam has dropped out of the lead role of Christian Grey due to his extremely busy television schedule not allowing him sufficient time to prepare for the lead role in “Fifty Shades of Grey”.
