Dreamworks Television and Amblin Television are in pre-production on a new science-fiction drama television series titled “Under The Dome” based on the novel by Steven King published in November 2009. Casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are conducting auditions for the show’s series regulars and recurring roles. Shooting will take place in Wilmington, NC beginning in March, 2013. All stand-ins for the series principal actors and all background performers will be cast in Wilmington. “Under The Dome” is scheduled to premier on Monday June 24, 2013 at 10pm on CBS.

Uptown Productions in association with Schneider’s Bakery, Inc. are now in production on the new comedy series “Sam and Cat” for Nickelodeon Network. The casting director will be auditioning actors throughout the season for recurring roles, co-starring roles, and under five roles. The extras casting director will also be hiring background extras throughout the season. The pilot episode was shot in September, 2012 and Nickelodeon announced a series pickup with an order for 20 episodes on November 29, 2012. The show will premier September 10, 2013 on Nickelodeon.

Casting directors in Los Angeles and New York are holding auditions for the series regulars, which include an over 18 actress who can play a 16 year old witch, an early 20’s female student who is intrigued by the deviance of the French Quarter, a late 20s early 30s female witch, and Klaus’ diabolical former protégé Marcel who is late 20s early 30s. Shooting begins March 6, 2013 and will take place in New Orleans and Atlanta.
